I’ve come a long way. When I first started at Glory as a Field Service Engineer I was a bit apprehensive: I had no experience and I was one of the few female Field Service Engineers in the company.


But if I held any concerns, they disappeared almost in a flash. Training and support was provided and I was welcomed, supported and trusted by my colleagues and manager. Everything else unfolded nicely once I had the basics in place and I’m pleased to say that the learning and support continues.


A real appeal of Glory for me was being able to work to a schedule which considers family life. I’m a Field Services Engineer who has the flexibility to be there for her daughter when she comes home. I feel empowered working in a role which makes this possible.
 

I enjoy each day at Glory. I love using my technical knowledge in various, diverse places and I love the company’s culture of respect. My manager has an open-door policy - and a suggestion box is open to all.


It doesn’t take our customers long to realise that Glory are streets ahead of the competition. One distributor calls the Glory solutions the ‘Ferrari of its field.’


I feel surrounded by respect, encouragement and I’m proud of myself and my team. All this, and I’m home in time for dinner with my daughter.
